  • Hey, this new guy speaks with so many real words and full sentances that I've had to crack open my old "Slate's George W. Bushisms" book for comedy relief. What happened to words like "hopefuller", "Hispanically" and "misunerestimated"?

  • I still can't get over the idea of a black president. I'm still in a state of shock. America has come a long way. I'm looking at him and just can't believe that it's not a white man up there. I'm going to stop typing because all I can say is that I can't fucking believe it! Never thought it would happen in my lifetime. FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

  • the office of the president elect lmfao it does not existe dude u r a f****** nobody till Bush leaves office

  • *cough* George W. Bush *cough*. Most incompetent president in history. I'll take Obama over him anytime man.

  • The Office of the President Elect? wtf? Never heard of that office before.

  • Rahm Emmanuel is no joke. He's not going to take no junk. Shoo nuff Chicago politics.

  • Furthermore President Elect Obamas newly appointed chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel, served on the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the federal mortgage firm Freddie Mac at a time when scandal was brewing at the troubled agency

    Obama does not represent change

  • I love my new President too!

Obama and us united for progressive

    change!!!

  • What angry, bitter, dejected republicans need is suck it up, move on and try to help make this a better country.

Or they can flee the country like they said they would if Obama won.

  • Obama isn't taking from everyone to give to failing corporations. If you payed attention to your own leaders ou'd realis ehe's actually going to tax the big corporations especially the big oil companies, who are still making huge profits while the world is in recession and tax those who make over $250,000 per annum. Who want's to invest in the american workforce. Check back into your own history books and you'll find Franklin D Roosevelt did something similar during the great Depression of 1930s

  • I am still in awe! I LOVE my new President!
