EDS- the beighton scale

Thursday the 10th
Clinical test called the Beighton Scale used in office to test for EDS and takes less then 3minutes to do so. This is a simple test all doctors can do if they know how.
Newer testing for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome uses the Beighton Criteria in which the Beighton Scale is also used.

Nice video, i got eds and i got 8 out of 9 in the beighton scale. I got my dignostic 1 year ago. Got major pain.

I have at least HMS, not unlikely EDS. I definitely score 4 points just on hands, plus that I can bend most fingers at least 90 degrees along with touching top of underarm with my thumb when bending thumb backwards too. At least one if not both of my knees bend back a fair bit too. Not sure about elbows, but they're very straight with ease. I know I can't put palm of hands on the ground, but do reach the ground with straight legs. Very good video too :)
