"buy American" I agree, but first I have to find it. Most of everything in the stores is chinese junk or from other countries. It's sad.

vstar - The quality of USA products is always better than chinese except for autos. But if you compare chinese products in general vs. american products, over all American products are made with much higher quality materials and construction than chinese. Who hasn't noticed that chinese products are junk. They fall apart soon after you buy them, an article of clothing is wearable 1 time before it's all stretched out the fabric is thin and falls apart, etc. it's crap. Not so with US made.

Yeah China is one of the few places on earth where people actually like our shitty unreliable cars...We don't know how to produce anything worth having in this country anymore...

Many people use that slogan, "Buy American", but it's easier said then done. With this economic crisis and people out of jobs and strap on $, people can't afford more expensive items from US, e.x. $20 jean or US $100 pair of jean. Unless you are rich, you can do that. Buy american (protectionism) is also a double edge sword. if US only buys US stuff, other countries would do the same, thus making the US economy even worse and more job lost. GM, Coke, etc sells a lot of goods in china.

hmm... Ever buy something that later you find has a tiny white sticker on it saying "Made In China" ? so many things here in America aren't made in America... think maybe we should consern ourselves with getting our economy jumpstarted... maybe BUY AMERICAN!!!
