Mew Mew Power (English) Episode 2/1: Part 1

This is the first part of Episode 2 of Tokyo Mew Mew in English. The English dub title of the show is Mew Mew Power.
In chronological order this is the 1st episode but since 4Kids made episode 12 into episode 1, it made this the 2nd episode. The episodes stay out of order until episode 13.

The story goes back to the beginning when, Zoey Hanson, a normal high school student, has finally managed to ask the most popular boy in school, Mark, out on a date to the Endangered Animal exhibit. What what she doesn't know is that she's being closely watched by 2 strangers.

The English dub completely changes the music score so the background music is complete different from the original Japanese music.

Names were also changed in the English version. The name changes are:

Masaya Aoyama-Mark
Ryou Shirogane-Elliot Grant
Keiichiro Akasaka-Wesley J. Coolridge III

Terms were also changed as well and those are:

Tokyo Mew Mew - Team Mew Mew
Para Para/Parasite Alien - Infuser
Chimera Anima - Predisite
Mew Mew (insert name) Metamorphosis! - Power Pendant Activate/Mew-tamorphosis!

That's because in Japan, people put their shoes next to the front door. So they don't put them on until right before they walk out. It's to keep the floors clean.

@allsby The anime stopped a long time ago, however there is a manga that did continue the series. The manga version is a little different from the anime in general, but all girls reappear within it, together with a new character.

@MewMewInternational There are several countries with this habit. In Korea this is a custom, up north here in Sweden we do it as well (in our homes). I have personally never seen a reason smudge the floors here, especially since we have snow and snow+foors make a HUGE mess.

@ that's why the lost there rights to dub the show plus they would've stopped because when u get to episode 50 there's so many sad parts yelling slapping deaths it's sad kisshu or as u know him as dren dies at episode 50 that's why they ended it at ep 27
