Actually you can use the rocket launcher as a conventional weapon once you actually find it in-game. Like any weapon, it's placed at a given location, like the Marshlands (hinthint).

The only drawback is that it's single-use only. and spare rockets aren't likely to find even after having the RL. but that would be the point of replaying the game for money/emblems to make the RL more... boundless.

@TheLollerfish Yeah, but thats an interactive cutscene. Im just saying that rather than carry it as a conventional weapon, its just a button you have to press in a cutscene. Gone are the days where you had to play the game quickly and skillfully to get rewards, instead you just have to play it again and again saving up money to buy stuff.

@bluritefang This game is a 'remake' of resident evil 2, so technically Ada only throws a rocket launcher twice. In the first game Brad does it, and in the 3rd game you only get the weapon if you go and pick it up. And resident evil 5.......well you just had to save up to buy it - LAME!
