Jos van der Kooy plays a famous tune from the Church of Norway Chorale Book on the great Christian Müller organ in the Grote of Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem (October 2007). The beautiful organ resides in the Grote of Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem, about 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam. It is 30 meters high and has 5,068 pipes. The organ was designed and built by Amsterdam organ builder Christian Müller between 1735 and 1738. Major rebuild in 1961 by the Danish firm Marcussen and Søn.

I love the way Jos van der Kooij plays - he just sits at the console, and without any flamboyant and un-necessary gestures, produces sounds of the utmost musicianship.
