  • The rest of the piece is ugly? Is that a joke? The third part with the violin solo is such the opposite. Sure, eroica may be a better heroic piece to some. I mean its amazing so it would be hard to beat, and thats why strauss uses the same key of e flat, probably because he wants to create something like Beethoven's eroica. And ny phil a fony?! First, ny phil is amazing, no one with a brain would disagree. This isn't sports, we aren't competing. Show some class you slob
