Hi! We're Team Soul!

This is our very first video, and it's for the first song we ever finished together. And honey, we sure do hope you think we is terrific!

Team Soul is made up of Brittany and Mo. Brittany (bcoombs1988) is from Maryland, and she does the lead and background parts for both vocals and guitar. Mo (LetTheRainCome) is from California, and he lays his funky Jamerson bass stylings down our tracks like it ain't nobody's business. Although we live on opposite sides of the United States and have never met in real life, that doesn't keep us from honoring that unforgettable Motown sound. We love creating our own versions of Hitsville's greatest songs from the ground up!

Because we hope to cover a lot of songs, we thought it best to put out two tunes at a time in sets. This set is called "Haven't I Been Sweet to You?" and features this cover of "Baby Love" along with our cover of "Stop! in the Name of Love." (Oh, and we recommend you listen to our stuff in headphones, if you can!)

We'd like to dedicate our covers to the greatest member of Motown's greatest group - Florence Ballard. Flo's awesomeness is responsible for the friendship that got Team Soul a'go-go.

  • Not very bad at all. The voice is nice just would have been better if a little more power was added.

  • Point taken, I appreciate the feedback. :-) That said, please do try something as simple as turning up the sound in your headphones or something like that. The equipment I use for recording could be a lot better, too, so sorry about that!

  • I think her voice sounded fine.

Her voice is sweet and pretty like Diana's, but very different. I like the way she sang it, it worked.
