A while back, I saw a movie project, where people would walk through their home towns, stopping to take a photo every few steps, and then make a stop motion animation of the result.
Inspiration striking, and one day of fiddling later, I give you my own take on the subject matter. My commute from home to work, from the Tenderloin to Stanford campus, as a stop motion animation. With the distances involved, large parts of the commute is spent on buses and trains, and thus shot through windows.
The movie was shot as about 850 still images using my Canon EOS Rebel XS with the 50mm prime lens model II.
