Professor Joshua Goldstein speaks out in October of 2004 about how fundamentally backwards Bush's economic policies are during a time of war.

It is a historical truism that when the country is at war, the poor fight and the wealthy pay for it. With Bush's war, the wealthy were given tax breaks and the poor soldiers were shortchanged in the process by the war profiteers like Halliburton and their subsidiaries like KBR. America is now running historical deficits, with nothing much to show for it.

Keep this in mind when you complain about the Democrats raising taxes, especially for the wealthy among us.

  • 600 Billion Dollars a year= $4000 dollars per U.S. household. Instead we spend it on other countries. Our poor people our suffering and the way things look they/we will be forgotten again, and again.
