We all know Rob from his years of competitive shooting, but believe it or not he attributes his success to the "family" at Springfield Armory and the finest 1911 custom shop in the world. He also talks about the NRA Golden Bullseye Award presented to Springfield Armory at the NRA show 09 for the XD(m) series.

  • @kimberHD45 actually the company that produces the frames and slides for the springfield 1911's is IMBEL, a world class manufacturer of firearms and they make the best FAL rifles found anywhere, the tauras factory is a piece of shit......

  • Big Money & Hard Livin'!

  • Man Rob has put on the weight since I saw him in the mid 90s.

  • @kimberHD45 hey don't forget Les Baer :D There good guns

Springfield however, has sold-out there not as refined anymore

  • Springfield Armory = Taurus

    Brazilian shit.

Buy American: Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk Custom, even Kimber.

  • cool. at least you got your money back. so what do ya carry? i wanna look into other manufacturers.. Ed Brown might have to wait though haha any recommendations?

  • @xXDaveyJonesXx didn't enen bother with customer service.... just got rid of them. Probably just my luck though. I know lots of shooters that swear by SA, just not me :)

  • @jameslawson71 yeah.. i think the TRP is the only Springfield made in america, but i could be wrong. i'm pretty sure most of their slides are forged in Brazil. "The first name in American fire-arms" ..ironic? i still love em' like crazy though. =D

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES dang, sorry you had a rough time. Did Springfield do you right after that? their customer service ROCKS. how many did you have to buy before you decided you were done? i've heard of a "break-in period" for alot of 1911's, but i'm on my first springfield "loaded" 1911 with about 500 rounds so far.. smooth as butter. and my XDM-9 has a few thousand through it. no jams. so that's 2 in a row that perform great for me.. from springfield. glad you found something that works though!
