In The Mouth of Madness is in my top 5 favorite horror flicks of all time. Some of the effects are cheesy, but the mood and the concept is great.

@c0d3punk I'm pretty sure that this movie is also a tribute to Stephen King and it's no secret that AC/DC is his favorite band.

Agreed. It would deserve a remake but it would probably end up in the other end of the spectrum: 90min of superb special effects and no plot.
Still, the scene with the woman crawling is still awesome.
