In August of this year I was sent to Arizona to support the NASA/USGS LDCM satellite that is to launch this time next year. During my stay (8-2-2011 to 8-4-2011), I left the hotel late one night to have a skate session under the street lights of a desolate parking lot in what seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The skate session was cut short due to a storm that abruptly arrived. Though, I was able to clear my mind and skate alone in complete silence and peace. [†]

  • You must really like this song, since I think it's the third time you use it for one of your videos. :P Anyway, nice session, even though the darkness prevented me from seeing the tricks clearly.

  • @Zeupar third? I know of two. And yeah - it's nice this way. It's more of a silhouette-type video

  • awesome video man, i still can't get that truckstand fan flip to truck.. haha

  • Nice Joe! I really like all of the shots, it looks insane. Personally, I'd be nervous skating in that type of lightning storm; I see a lot of the strikes hitting the ground, haha.

Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year!

  • Joe Flemke + Lightning Storm = one of the most EPIC parking lot sessionz you'll ever see!

    Badass, man...

  • wooow that lightning

  • @homedogdigity Merry Christmas! (And Thanks for all advices!)

  • @joshsk8erx1 I've done a few in a row once :-) Though some days when I try it, it's a nightmare...too board dependent. I still need to film a, what I call insane, combo that I just missed for my 2007 part...I'll have to go out and conquer the beast! It's painful, but on my mind - kinda something that needs to be done :-) Merry Christ-mas, Josh.

  • @DirtyAGProductions Thanks for the kind words. You can do anything you want. You just need to look within and if you want it enough, nothing is going to stop you. You have to know what's meaningful and important to you, and keep true. Don't settle for good enough and if thngs are too easy, something is wrong...your slope should always be a little steep at any given time, otherwise you'll get soft. Merry Christmas!
