The Defense Industrial Base DIB is the industry resources necessary for the Army to conduct its mission. Parts of the DOD mission would fail if parts of the Defense Industrial Base were to fail. The concepts of CIRM Critical Infrastructure Resource Management and mitigation aspects of a single point of failure are discussed. DCIP and CIRM are compared. This is based on G3 DOD reports.
