This past summer the kids were bored. I helped them do a short star wars spoof. After I taught him how, my 10 year old son did all the editing and I helped clean it up. He did all the tedious rotoscope work for the Fx and after I taught him how, he added the sabers and blasters.

You need a program called Adobe After Effects. You can download the trial for free. After you do that, search youtube for "how to light saber effect". There are several methods but all are similar. Thanks.
