E3 2009: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

what kind of silent hill fan are you. even though THIS one hasnt come out yet, ur criticizing a game series like it isnt the series we know an love and care about.

the reason why you dont hit the monsters, is because its more focused on SURVIVAL HORROR (duh :P) and weapons make the player feel more empowered, which takes you out of the experience.

if ur not happy with it, dont judge it [yet] and dont buy it when it DOES come out. its not like you cant stop it from being released,

silent hill is really difffrent than before sepecialy the atmosphere before it was all hellish now its al cold and freezing o.O

How about Konami pull their finger out and start advancing the series.

Konami should make an entirely different Silent Hill for the PS3 & Xbox. Silent Hill 4 was awesome. It was unique, and different (forget about the invincible monsters).
