To download an mp3 file of the accompaniment, go to www.steveparkhornmusic.net. This is probably the most famous of all Horn Quartets. I have re-written the parts so that the very demanding first horn part is shared by all of the horns. The orchestra accompaniment is done with Garritan Personal Orchestra software. I also added reverb because I wanted it to sound like I was in a concert hall. Subscribe! I will be adding more solos on a regular basis. I teach horn at a University and my goal is to create a video library of some of the best horn solos for my students and others. Also let me know if there is something you would like me to record. If you would like an mp3 file of the accompaniment, send me your email address and I will send you the file.

  • ..hallo, is This an old VOX-Recording with the hornsoloists Goermer, Irmscher, a.others..???

  • Nope - you can tell that the accompaniment is synthesized. I made it on my computer using a program called Garritan Personal Orchestra. But thanks for thinking it's professional.

  • I had fun making the video!!!

  • Hi Steve,

    this is an amazing production........

  • @Gallopedro19 akkompanementy Mozart 1.2.3.4.horn koncerto /site/google/zaharoffmusik/

  • One of my favorites! Thanks for creating this recording, and thanks for making the individual horns appear/disappear depending on what they're doing. What did you use for the video editing?

  • HOLY AWESOME!!!! I have tried before to record more than one part and get them to mesh together perfectly, but that is so hard to do. It is almost impossible to get the timing perfect and to get every articulation to be pristine. Congrats! You have a new subscriber!

  • Beautiful. Simply stunning. I hope to aspire to your talent some day!

  • Fantastic! Genial!

  • Great!:) your horn it's a hans hoyer 6801 GA? i like it
