I made this thing from a bunch of scrap and a broken 48v batter powered scooter I got for free off of craigslist. It run's pretty good with my 215 lbs. on it. I made it more for sub 100 pounders. It is not finished, but this was a good test run.

The grades:

Safety: F
Turning Radius: D
Top Speed: B
Weight: F
Stability during turns: F (because of slick seat)
Videography: F
Traction Control: B
Appearance: B-
Durability: F (because I bent the steering wheel when I flipped it)
Funny Looks From Pedestrians: A
Road Rash: A

Anyway, it's pretty fun to ride. I'll get some more video loaded after it's complete and I have some kiddos on it--out on a ranch, not on public streets.

  • Hey,

your kart looks nice! I've got some questions.

How much power does this moter have and which batteries did you use? How long can you ride it?
