During the spring of 1994, George, Paul and Ringo reunited to record several new songs for the soundtrack to "The Long And Winding Road" - a film history of The Beatles. More significant was Yoko's decision to allow the ex-Beatles to remix and overdub an original 1980 Lennon demo, "Free As A Bird". The song would retain Lennon's original vocalsand a new verse written by McCartney would be recorded. Included here in is unaltered original John Lennon demo.
