Anime - Himiko Den OP : Pure Snow

One of my favourite anime OP. OP song is "Pure Snow" performed by Yuuko Sasaki. Think the Manga Artist "Oh!Great" is also partly involved in the character design of the anime.

Kinda fancy this anime - Himiko den. Watched it couple of years ago, the storyline isn't in my head now. =(
Yet, I do remember I enjoyed catching it. ^o^
And YESsss, its opening theme song - Pure Snow - is great indeed.

This anime is horrible yet "Pure Snow" and the ending theme "Change the Color of the Moment" are some of the best vocal and instrumental songs that I've EVER heard for an anime. They play on my I-Pod daily :) A bit ironic really...

anime was bad but the OP still ranks extremely high in my book.

Interestingly there are parallels with actual japanese ancient history. A woman known only as Himiko did rule a place in japan and corresponded with the chinese empire at that time.
