Well I'll be honest on that. Been collecting old light meters for awhile and during both shoots I took them all with me and took a variety of measurements with different meters. 1932 German Photoscop Model 2405 With Scheiner Scale. lol.. 1966 Gossen LunaSix (replaced both PX13's with an A625). Also a Russian Leningrad4 with the GOST scale.. lol.. I think I've learned just about every damn scale there is, it's all so confusing. In short, the meters get me close but they lie sometimes.

@7rundle Never used Cinevia, but have had horrible jitter issues with Spectra's Velvia 50D. Beautiful stock though, would use it more often if it wouldn't stutter so much. Let me know how Cinevia works out for you, I may just try them out...thanks!

@x05e I used to underexpose 64T - sometimes by a whole stop which definitely beefed up the colours (and the smaller aperture helped sharpen the image too) which to some extent compensated for the horrible coarse grain pattern. I'll certainly check out the Spectra stock on your recommendation, but right now there's a test rolI of Cinevia's (Velvia) 50D in my camera (I hear the glitches have finally been ironed out), I just hope it doesn't jam in the gate...

@7rundle Thanks...underexposing a bit should help you with saturating it a bit more...or so I've heard. Haven't tried it myself. I miss the Canon 1014 Electronic I used to shoot this with, but I sold it since I really needed the money at the time. I'm not exactly thrilled by 100D myself. I find that despite the graininess of 64T, I found its colors and contrast more consistent. Best results I've had with 100D by far has been when I used and processed it thru Spectra Film & Video. Good luck!

Nice camera work. These Kodak 100D colours are a too bit thin for my liking, but at least it has a finer grain than the dreaded 64T. I must say you managed to get things focussed perfectly on this roll, those tight shots of the flower and the car steering wheel were particularly impressive. I've just got my first batch of K100D and I think I'm going to try deliberately under-exposing it by half a stop. Hopefully it'll add some depth and body to the colours.
What camera did you use?

The dolphin certainly had some blues... just got a roll back myself... found one really good sweet spot but the rest was a bit over and under.

@x05e
Two cameras this time. A 1939 Zeiss Movikon-K and a 1964 Bolex P2 (fixed lens with manual zoom). Most of the indoor footage I took (with either camera) was with the lens fully open while holding a heavy halogen shop lamp... turned out alot better than I thought it would! :)

@ZmajSnoshaj How are you determining exposure? Are you using a light meter?
