True. I remember watching a Family Guy episode once where Peter sat on Quagmire's couch, which activated something within the couch that rendered him unconscious, undressed him, and moved him into a sex position, implying that his friend is a rapist, and that that is funny. Something like that is fine nowadays, but something like this or the Frito Bandito is just too terrible to allow on TV.

There is nothing like Jack Benny and Bugs Bunny doing a stand up together. They did another one on the Johnny Carson show years later. It can be found here on you tube.

the old Jack Benny shows have been airing on a Dallas digital TV station the last couple years and I love them. Mel Blanc is hilarious on them. just watched one where he had a nervous breakdown because of Jack Benny's horrible violin playing :-)

The thing is you're absolutely right. The modern definition of liberal is different than what the terminology used to be. Political correctness is the suppression of free speech, no matter how they mask it, and an act as harmless and humorous as this would be slapped with a PC label just because it gently pokes fun at an ethnic group. I dare anyone to say this is worse than the crap out of Family Guy, Comedy Central in general or MTV, but they will.
