the old Jack Benny shows have been airing on a Dallas digital TV station the last couple years and I love them. Mel Blanc is hilarious on them. just watched one where he had a nervous breakdown because of Jack Benny's horrible violin playing :-)

The thing is you're absolutely right. The modern definition of liberal is different than what the terminology used to be. Political correctness is the suppression of free speech, no matter how they mask it, and an act as harmless and humorous as this would be slapped with a PC label just because it gently pokes fun at an ethnic group. I dare anyone to say this is worse than the crap out of Family Guy, Comedy Central in general or MTV, but they will.

it's always funny how the funny guy keeps a straight face while the straight man is always cracking up. it was the same with tim conway and harvey korman of the "carol burnett show". tim conway always kept a straight face while harvey korman, who usually played the straight man, was always trying hard not to crack up.
