@mainejunker yeah I know right. I bet he's probably one of those guys that has every tool for the job.

This is a good method but how does one tighten it without it moving......

@RobertGary1 impact wrench is for pussies.. lol

Simple but a very good idea.
It we call, using imagination to accomplish things.

Only the most powerful impact tools will free this bolt. For example, an Aircat 1200 (which costs $220) capable of 1200 ft lbs. of torque.
I built my own tool to hold the pulley while I freed the bolt with a 40" breakover cheated with a metal fence post. The tool can be built with 1/4" steel stock and some grade 8 bolts. It's fairly simple.
This method is not a good idea. Youtube is full of people who have done this and stripped the bolt or destroyed tools.

yeah...motor is junk

@Residence0fEvil try punching a horse in the face
Oh, come on. Don't be a tight wod. Just go buy the proper impact wrench. One pull of the trigger and mine came right off.

I suppose I would if I could afford to go buy whatever tools I wanted any time I needed them. But for now I'll be a bit more conservative. Thanks for your comment though.
