I watched Martin Simpson and Martin Taylor play in Olympia two years ago, definately two of the best guitar players in the world it was awesome to see them especially since i was in the front row!

He's very popular in the folk genre. If you prefer more singing then his acclaimed album 'The Bramble Briar' is well worth looking out for.

Never heard of Martin Simpson.... very well known musician...anyhow...yes ..this is in the league of performances where most guitarists watching would have to resort to insults...it is that good...a different league.

I've heard of this guy but never heard him before. He obviously has great skill and musicality. He coaxes a lot of tenderness out of that guitar.
