Part 2 update of my console fusion project where I attempt to install a GameCube inside a NES case.

Thanks for watching!

  • For the colour, I'd stick to the original NES colour, and just respray it a nice fresh looking grey colour, then if it's possible to get some decals, then still them on as well.

    Looking forward to the updates.

  • @freemonk3 I don't know, I was planning on leaving the bottom section as it is to keep the original NES look but the top section is a really nasty yellow colour so definitely needs redone. It would be nice to do something new and to show it isn't just a standard NES anymore. Thanks for the input :).

  • can i ask: Do you do this kind of thing for a living? I have always wondered how people are able to do this kind of thing. Maybe I should take some classes on how to solder!

  • @RomeoGoesRetro No, sadly not, I just do this sort of stuff for fun in my spare time :). None of my mods are particularly difficult to do. If you have basic soldering skills and can follow tutorials then most console mods/repairs are easily achievable. Personally I started off doing really simple stuff like swapping/adding LEDs then took it from there. You should have a go yourself. It's good fun, you end up with cool looking consoles + you pick up new skills as you go :).

  • Put the Nes motherboard in the gamecube casing. Though, the board will be too long so could be difficult.

  • i buy your nes motherboard if you still have it, and if you sell ti to me pretty cheap^^

  • think its a good idea to put NIN10DO'H on it?

  • Can I buy it once you don't play with it? I want a Game cube so that I can play Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon: Colloseum.

  • man, is it possible to take a regular cd/dvd drive that slides out and swap it with a ps2 slim cd tray?

  • Looking good so far, I'd have to agree with freemonk3 on leaving the original NES colour scheme, I've heard if you leave the case overnight in a pool of diluted bleach, it should get rid of the yellowing. A gamecube logo on the cartridge door would look cool though. Looking forward to the next part!

  • Awesome! Just Awesome!

  • awesome Cant wait to see how it turns out,
