@Winkiedoodles Me too! nothings cooler than hearing/seeing a largemouth smack a topwater lure.

Alright. I will. Thanks

@tony93666 Thanks, Tony. I used a smidgen of 'fuzzy math' on the time. I fished the pond for 5 hours but around half the time I was wacky rigging for the Wacky RIG'R featurette video and the other half I was throwing mice. Add the two videos together to get an idea of the number of fish (not counting the ones that got away). The fish were still biting when I left so Lord only knows how many nice bass are in that pond. Like the Terminator said: "I'll be back."

@BillGoudy Bill, when I was conversing with John (the inventor of the Mice lures) I told him I'd never seen a bass eat a swimming mouse and he said 'that's probably because they already ate the mouse!' I know they eat ducklings and lizards and snakes and just about anything else that lands in the water so why not mice? They are fun lures to use; something different. Hope you enjoy our videos; I try to keep them family friendly. Don
Those are some very fine details on the buzz's I like em'

The more weeds the better! And can't wait for the vid. I actually just got into topwater bass fishing last summer.. Well I just got into bass fishing. Topwater is just what my friend showed me and I tried it and I got HOOKED. Do you have any tips on what lures I should get. I have a few Spro frogs, Muck the mouse jitterbugs, and a Zara spook already. I'm waitin for the spring to use them again

@nyaj1000 The fact that you already have a Muck the Mouse says a lot about your enjoyment of topwater fishing. It is one of my favorite methods as well. Sure, there's lots of cool things I'd recommend for topwater. Scroll through my videos and look for buzz baits, Redfins and stuff like that. I also use a Scum Frog and other stuff. I'll be testing some cool hand-made Impact topwaters in the spring, too (just haven't had the chance). Best wishes, Don

Cool vid. All the lakes are frozen up in MN and this is getting me through the days of not being able to fish. I have muck the mouse and I might try that mod of adding that hook at the end of it

@nyaj1000 Thank you, and we woke to a little snow this morning in SW Missouri; we've been lucky so far this year. On my Muck the Mouse I switched the weedless treble in the testing phase to allow him to go over and through the weeds I was fishing. On these two prototype Buzz mice the final tail hook I used was a smaller Gamakatsu; size 3 if memory serves. In open areas a treble would be fine but I fish a lot of weedy places. Watch for a SUPER BUZZ (no kidding) video next spring.
