Birds of Prey is a television drama series produced in 2002. The series was developed by Laeta Kalogridis for The WB and is loosely based on the Birds of Prey DC Comics series. Despite the weekly ratings of 7.6 million viewers and the network's largest audience in the 18--34 demographic at the time, the series was cancelled. Thirteen episodes were produced in total.

@frogsoda A) A little late, I'd already watched the entire series months ago.

B) "Weakness" does not always designate a terminal vulnerability. Phobias are a weakness but rarely do people die of them.

But this is all largely irrelevant. "Half meta human" is just silly wording. If I mix chocolate milk with regular milk I don't get a new thing, I get weaker chocolate milk.

@frogsoda How do you mean? Metas need to eat and sleep and take a crap don't they? They're not ALL bullet-proof, right? They catch flu don't they? I'd say they're as susceptible to human "weakness" as the rest of us, they just have additional abilities we lack.

The point is it's sloppy script-writing.

I do like the show, if a little cheesey at times, but what I find annoying is the introduction at the start of every fricken episodes.
