@mattiebastardo In My Opinion, I Don't Think So. As Katsu Hasn't Made Another Record For The Last Two Years. Takayoshi Ohmura Also Hasn't Made A Record For The Last Three To Four Years. I Don't Know Much About This Gentaro Guy. If You Are Speaking In Playing Technique, Katsu Is Almost In Par Of Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Not Takayoshi As I Haven't Seen Anything Great In His Playing But I Like Him Though. Like I Said I Don't Know Much About This Gentaro Guy.

@lostm0ments because my friend. bad music is only known by douchebags which makes up most of the populus, good music is only available to those willing to search for it. which obviously means you and i are awesome. feel better now? :)

Ah, now it's absolutely clear that you have not been listening to his music carefully. Please forgive me for making the mistake of engaging you. Best of luck in your future endeavors, young lady. Farewell.

U must be demented son.His last 2 cds apart from the acoustic one which i havn't heard & want to as I think I might actualy enjoy it Ar e absolute repetative ,boring CRAP apart from the great Diablo instrumental. His solos the worst thing about him, because he doesn't compose them-they're semi mindless & so very samey every time like his albums. He is very lazy & uncreative,& therefor UNFORGIVABLE !!!

Great instrumental work, though the vocals are rather weak. That has been a common weakness of Japanese bands, though, beginning with Loudness: Great guitar work, but thin, off-key vocals.

I would humbly suggest that you listen to Mr. Malmsteen's recent work more carefully. In recent years, he has produced some of his most creative and complex work ever.
Why is it, that all the greatest music is not widley known?

Katsu and Takayoshi Ohmura & Gentaro I think are better than Malmsteen as he's now past it.
