This is a short video on the LED grid I built for the custom taillight on my CB. This is all done in my attempt to convert to LED illumination on this old Iron Steed.

  • Hello Duetx, try to find that website I posted earlier. It helps you to figure out how to arrange the LED circuit tp fit the voltage supply of your bike. I ended up grouping my LED's in sets of 3 with a resistor to regulate voltage. It's not real easy.

  • look at website THELEDLIGHT dotcom forwardslash LEDCICUITS for a lot of help. High intensity LED's from ebay. Resistors from radioshack. Got about 5 hours and 2 bucks in this.

  • I can't respond to the prior post. Been trying. It was cheap, not really easy. message me for a more detailed response

  • Thanks for posting your videos! I just got a 76 cb750 recently and am very interested in changing out the light bulbs in the rear especially with LED's. Is it as simple as cutting the wire near the bulb, splicing it in with an LED? Or did you need to do something different with your circuit box?

  • nice! was this pretty simple and cheap to do?
