Being HIV+ is not a death sentence, BUT it is mainly up to the person what they do and how they live their life as to what the outcome will be

    Ciao Bello!

Hey "Ragazzo Caldo" , that's "Hot or Hottie Boy", thank you for this effort of yours here! This is Bobby Griffiths' (Prayers for Bobby) old lover/boyfriend "Blaine" here, who was first diagnosed with HIV in 1987! As I'm sure you've read up a bit, such a diagnosis was tantamount to a "Death Sentence" in those days!

  • @hotboyfolife

However just as crippling then, was the oppressive stigma attached to such a diagnosis! But while at my Doctors office for a routine visit during the mid 1990s, I saw a poster for a study conducted at Stanford University, titled "10 Characteristics of Someone Managing HIV Successfully"! First on that list was "A complete openness and honesty about ones' disease"!

  • @hotboyfolife

It didn't change me over night of course, but slowly began working upon my outlook! I'm so proud of you for this "Ragazzo Dolce", and that's "Sweetie Boy"! You're going to have a full life, with many enriching experiences! And your "Uncle" Blaine here would be privileged to observe, or merely hear of some of them!

Con L'Amore e Molti Baci! (Lots A Love n' Kisses)

    Zio Blaine
