Art, mathematics, and computers create infinite possibilities when mixed together. Join Academy Award winner Ken Perlin of NYU as we journey to infinite planets and four dimensional worlds, discovering dancing molecules, spiral escalators, impossible creatures, and balancing robots.

Special introduction by sculptor Gregory Barsamian, creator of life-size three-dimensional animations.

Math Encounters is a public presentation series celebrating the spectacular world of mathematics and presented by the Simons Foundation and the Museum of Mathematics. For further information, call the Museum of Mathematics at (212) 542-0566 or e-mail mathencounters@momath.org.
