A quick test evaluating the performance of a Wiimote when used as a head tracking system to control the pointer/mouse of a computer. The code was adapted from Johnny Lee's whiteboard example (http://johnnylee.net/projects/wii/) and lives in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~jorge-silva/+junk/scyp/files/head:/prototypes/wii/

  • I added a description in the captions... you can turn them on by clicking on the bottom right arrow and then on the CC logo

  • How does the user select those buttons using the cursor?

  • @kerrin through dwell click. If he stays in the target for one full second, the target is considered selected

  • Thts great work. How did you map the cursor movement to head movement. I mean to make those small head movement but manage to span the whole screen

  • How did you make it? Is it possible to make this in C# or Visual Basic?

  • awesome music

  • Where is the infra-red LED?
