Little Penguin Baby 2011-Cincinnati Zoo

The newest addition to our Little Penguin Colony. There have been 22 little penguins hatched at the Cincinnati zoo. This one had to be pulled from the colony because the egg was not being cared for by the parents.

@Immortal4Aday He's a Little Penguin. They are also called Little Blue Penguins or sometimes, Fairy Penguins.

@litllost Just to clarify your comment, this little penguin would not exist if we didn't remove the egg and hand incubate it. The parents were not caring for the egg in the exhibit and we only do this when the parents are not doing their job. This penguin is now back in with the other little penguins and is having minimal contact with humans.

You know everything don't you? Go do their job for them if you know so much, find a cure for cancer while your at it. Also, remember to raise the dead while your at it.
