i remember when i was a child, i fell asleep to this song on repeat. my mom woke me up for school and remarked, "I'm not sure you should be sleeping to such violent lyrics repeating all night." but she never tried to stop me. i never realized until much later how cool my parents were. they were great parents, never tried to stifle me and my tastes. but i do often wonder if they ever recovered from the multiple knife wounds i inflicted before i skipped town.
