Thank you, I solved the problem by clicking off "OpenGL vertex objects" in hardwareoptions. ^^

In any case the problem occurs when the "Latest SL" version come out and the "latest ATI driver" are the same, but when the NEW ati driver comes out the "latestSl" version work good. so for esample: SL-2 (10/01/2001) ATI-1 (05/01/2001) -------BAD SL-2 (10/01/2001) ATI-2(15/01/2001) (but at this date come out the SL-3) -------GOOD for most cases the problem is this! which version do you have of SL and which of the ATI Driver?

when I was the Second Life 1.22 or 1.23 and Ati Driver 9.3 or 9.4 i solved by installing an old version of Second Life (1.19)

Now i have the 1.23(SL) + 9.5(ATI) and work good PT1

Well.. I've the same problem! I have ATI 4870 512mb. Dunno what to do.. Have you solved the problem?
