2008 YAMAHA WR250R with FMF PowerCore, PowerBomb, and FMF Fuel Injection Power Programmer. First test drive topped out at about 87 MPH without pushing too hard in sixth gear with stock sprockets. I was wearing an off road style helmet and couldn't tuck down or the cam bolted to my visor wouldn't show the speed. I am pretty sure I can do 90+ with a street helmet and tucked down. Sorry about the horrible static in the audio. More about this bike on my site: SolidFull.com

either way as long as i can ride at 70-80 on the highway ill be happy im looking for a dual sport type bike i can ride to work and around twisty back roads and take it up to where i ride and hit the trails
Read the description man, it was a test run and I was still still breaking her in. Yeah I also cruise at 80 mph all day in 5th. But I noticed with a dirt helmet you get more front end wobble at speeds over 80 mph. A tighter jacket and visored street helmet help cut down on the draft especially in heavy winds.
Have you ever tried bolting a camera to the bill of your helmet?? It's not exactly aerodynamic.
Yeah, it wasn't to the limiter, but i rev it just as hight to go 80 in 5th. i weigh 150 lbs. And FYI, the new Bridgestone BT003's are the best tires for the 250x. They are 3 compounds and have great wear.
See I am 6'2" and weigh like 220 lbs so there is no way my R on nobs is gonna get up above 100 mph with my huge ass on there. I believe it though, with a smaller rider it could def do that. If I ever invest in some street wheels for my R I will have to try those bridgestones out.
