Christ is the holy temple when God lived with israel but never recognized him. Christ teachings and miracles we read in bible today were acts by God inside him. God dont need a temple made of stone.

Isai'Jah 11:11-12

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Y'Israel, and gather together the dispersed of J'udah from the four corners of the earth.

This is amazing to me. Here you see the Bible phrophecy about how they will try and rebuild the temple but will not succeed. The temple was the only place where you could be with the presence of God. When Jesus died, the temple split and was never to be rebuilt. Because of what Christ did, the temple of God is now built inside the person should they believe. Amazing!
