Synopsis:

By observing everyday activities in and around a filling station and eavesdropping on conversations between owners, personnel and motorists, we discover a great deal about the country itself. The gas station becomes a microcosm.
Gas Station investigates local values - economical, religious, political, social and cultural - and such gas-related subjects as environment, power, war and money.
People tell their own stories. They are interviewed discreetly and this confidentiality enables the viewer to find out more about them and about the local situation.
The episodes are shot in Arizona (USA), Punjab (India), Iceland, Australia, Israel and the Czech Republic.
