country romance

once in a while I go to visit my grannny`s place in the southeast corner of Latvia and it is like going back in history, few changes and still the same air, the same calm and isolation from the outside world. You could call it an island of peace! I used to spend there my summers when I was still at school, but now I guess I am just too used to civilization and to the advantages that modern society life gives us, and after a week I longed to be back in town... And now when I am back, I miss the country again. Is it never enough?
