Bottom of panels in breeze: roll a length of cotton rope into the end of the fabiric (like rolling a doob) and hot slue, staple or sew shut. Or, have mom sew "rice tubes" from some old black socks: rice in sock, run a 2 lines of stitching down center, cut apart between the 2 lines of stitching. ..hot glue onto curtain . Make sure curtain is not long enough so the bags rub on ground or might break open.
@Shadowmaster939 DUCT tape, when used in outside applications (with UV and wide temp changes), degrades very quickly..the adhesive separates from the mesh of the tape. Fail.
Problem with foam prop: Foam degradation. (common)
Solution: Sew neck together, clean surface with 99% isopropyl alcohol, coat sutures & opening with layers of liquid latex. Allow each layer to dry before repeating. Reenforce exterior with layers of latex & loose weave fabric (muslin, cheese cloth, gauze, etc). Key is to have a thick but flexible repair. Paint with flesh tinted latex.
Next, reduce pressure to prop. It is already too powerful, and is too old to handle the stress.
all the emergency exits at haunts around here are just pannels on hinges :o you could use velcro, duct tape, even staples! (taken from other comments) as for the shocker, use latex or yes you could use great stuff but it maaay ruin some articulation of the neck for better or worse (probably worse) just experiment! And when are you guys starting zombie?? I am so excited for zombie now that hyde street is done and looking AMAZING!
