Talk about true pittie spirit! This little girl is the embodiment of it! Ebby was found on the cold streets of Detroit just before Christmas. She had clearly been bred, she was hungry, cold and scared. But not even that could tarnish this little girls spirit. It shined bright enough to catch the eye of a good samaritan who kindly took her in and started the search for a good rescue.

We were heartbroken to find out that Ebby was heartworm positive. Fortunately, it was at an early enough stage that it would not create permanent damage. Just as we finished her treatment, we were even more saddened to discover that she had pyometra (a completely preventable condition if a female dog is spayed). But not even that stopped this amazing girl! She was a trooper through both treatments and went through recovery without a whimper of complaint! Through all of it, her heart and spirit have shined on in true pittie fashion and won over the heart of everyone who has met her!

Ebby greets everyone with happy kisses and that pittie wiggle butt! Ebby likes to sleep with her people so if you toss or turn at night, she has to check on you to make sure you are ok. So you may end up with an Ebby on your chest, or an Ebby muzzle in your face. As soon as she is convinced you are ok, she will lay back down and go to sleep. What a sweet little momma!

We think Ebby would be most happy being the only dog the center of all of your attention! She may be fine with a larger submissive male dog, but she likes to be top dog. We have recently discovered that Ebby is good with cats!

All this little angel wants to do is be near you, put her cheek to yours and be loved on. Those sweet soulful eyes just stare at you asking to be loved and absolutely amazed that life is getting to be so good! One of Ebbys favorite things is to put her cheek up to yours and just stand there and let you love on her. All she needs now is her very own forever home. Could it be with you?

Ebby is about two years old, 39 lbs. and stands just beneath your knee, she is housebroken and crate-trained. She is now a healthy girl, spayed, up-to-date on her shots. She will need to be on heartworm preventative every month.
