@2209835 Obviously didn't do the reseach, now look up NAFTA, and related topics, some people in the states laugh a bit about this.
The british empire shaped candain parliment and law, since they figured it worked for them, there's the similarilties. Then canada focused towards global responiblities after the creation of the UN, some skeptics would feel the US controls it.
Closest tie to UK today is the commonwealth, and really, do they control things?
Most polititians fit your criteria.

@2209835 The UK is NOT controlling Canada, they stopped giving a fuck about our government a long time ago.
Although yes, our government IS a joke when it comes to the Senate. (And they're not drunk. I wish that could be the reason why they're acting so stupid, but they're not.)

Anyone who understands Robert's Rules of Order understands why you can't just shout down the chair and demand to speak. Either Fabian Manning doesn't understand the rules or is being a jackass.
