Rep. Joe Barton appeared on Fox news on Monday to promote the BULB Act, which repeals the ban on the incandescent light bulb. A law passed in 2007 makes Thomas Edison's most famous invention illegal starting tin 2014.

what am I supposed to use for the ez bake oven? amazingly enough democrats don't like choice and that is a big tenement of Democracy.so only ge is stopping the production of incandescants? cfls waste just as much energy but people use a dimmer cfl device instead of the same wattage hence savings but the room is not as well lit, and the cfl emits the same amount of waste in infared instead of heat.

And abolutely no Republicans ever brought up the heath hazards of the old 4 foot long fluorescent tubes that have been used since the 1940s.
