Hey, Ace haters, deal with it. Thayer is just a replacement, he's a slap in the face to true kiss fans when he goes up and does "Shock Me"...All he is, is a part of a major marketing machine. Nothing more. Nothing special. Ace? Well, he was badassed enough for Dimebag to idolize, and Dimebag was KING!..Argue it all you want, if you can get your noses out of paul & gene's ass long enough to realize who made the the heavy music in Kiss..He's a guitar players kind of player man. i am stunned that some of you people have the BALLS to compare Tommy to Ace. Tommy couldn't shine Ace's shoes let alone play better than him. Tommy Thayer only got that gig after Ace left was because he cloned Ace Frehley for YEARS in a KISS Tribute band, and knew all of his solos. At the time he got the gig, he was already working as Gene and Paul's personal Mexican sweeping their floors, cleaning their pools, painting their houses, and doing laundry. He used to get them dinner after shows.
