"Fairy tales" Few have been murdered over a fairy tale. No culture was extinguished, no population annihilated, no scholars put to death because of a fairy tale. The bible, a book of lies, is far deadlier, insidious, and contagious than any fairy tale.

I find it ironic that this news reporter is being quite cynical about her, when he probably believes in some element of christianity himself which is just as farfetched, and probably more so. Religion is absolutely illogical yet, even moderately religious Christians, who don't believe everything in the bible (as i myself used to be) still believe in the stupidest, most unlikely part of the new testament; that Jesus was the son of God, died for our sins and rose from the dead.

@mrsanity I concur. Islam in many cases, is where Christianity was in the 15th century. Interestingly, England still had religious police thru the 1940s. I am a Wiccan, and am religious. I do not want ANY religion, including my own, anywhere near the seats of power in this world. No good has ever come from theocracy.

@sheavepin Whilst i agree on the fairy tale sentiment, the difference is that a muslim fanatic kills people with far less provocation, and has a "slight" advantage of numbers. There are more christians on the planet, yet there are thousands of times more people killing in the name of islam compared to killing in the name of christianity.
