  • @lichtenstein10 I see your pretty into the Japanese thing. me too, You probably know this, but there is a authentic Japanese resturant downtown called "Bush gardens", its a 2 minute walk from pioneer square! So delicious, and everyone that works there is from Japan. It's great

  • I remember when I was a kid on the late 60's my parents talking about 3rd and Burnside. That was too funny to see that corner

  • I went on a tour of the Shanghai Tunnels a year or so ago with a couple of friends. I think it is The Oregon Geographical Society if memory serves me correctly. They give tours that start out front of the restaurant Hobos on 3rd.

  • Actually, skid road/ skid row originated in Seattle's Pioneer Square.

  • Origin of the term "skid row"? Sweet! We Rock!The underground would be awesome to see, if they still let people into it :[ Bridgetown is still the best in my book, though, and thanks for helping keep Portland weird!
