  • I'm going to listen to this while punching flying rocks and bats.

  • I often wonder if the limits in hardware at the time is what allowed all the very best musicians to really shine through.... Same goes for the 64 ofc.

  • Most Amiga games had these Depeche Mode type soundtracks.

  • I actually listen to this song as I hike on trails surrounded by oak trees or while running in a field situated in a valley somewhere close to my home.

Actually, this game basically made me afraid of the wilderness at a young age.

I really didn't know what I was seeing, especially with the opening title screen featuring the mechanical animals running around, when I was young, I actually thought that's what mountain lions looked like.

  • This music is so in line with the game... epicness and sadness in one tune

  • OMG OMG OMG !!! This brings back so much!!

  • old school #1. Even though never owned an amiga, I knew it was the gamers pc choice back then, we grew up with the apple 2 e, might not be as powerful but it had tons of games and programs.

    Loved the old school apple.

  • @ELFLACOVICTOR I'm trying to remake this game in HD 2.5D graphics, help me by spreading the word!

  • wow just brought a smile on my face what a game this was hard as fucking shit....

would love to see a ps3 remake with music included

  • @MrMarkGH That is a really good point I never thought of! But I think the musicians where limited in hardware, too (number of channels / bytes available etc.). For me it always was the melody that got me hooked and I think the musicians put a lot of effort in there. So your point is totally right as we see that nowadays the games are leaning a lot more towards the GFX part of a game and the music is far in the background. For FPS it would be weird though to have loud tunes during gameplay... ;-)

  • This music is so gorgeous... definitely got to be one of my favorites. I can listen to this forever!
