my wife divorced me for doing as she asked.

took the house and my kids, then demanded i pay her child support.

i think if the woman chooses to get divorced then she should not receive anything.unless she was abused. if the husband is convivted of family violence, then he is fair game. but if not convicted he should not pay alimony. or exorborant support,
