"Of all the groups and/or individuals who might wish to do me bad cess, out of animus or insanity, I never have to worry about Scientologists. I haven't seen the thing you reference on YouTube, but Ron Hubbard and I were friends. No matter in what godhood he is held by those who may "follow his footsteps," Ron HIMSELF told them to leave me alone, that I was okay in his book. I may not have much use for Scientology, but I had--and still have--LOTS of camaraderie and admiration for the man." - Harlan Ellison

  • Great, lots of build up and then it dies when it gets interesting,

  • Robin Williams is no match for him.

  • L.Ron was a fashist, a perv, and a conman. How sad that people don't look before they jump. They give there money away to liers. Then give there children as slaves. For what? The cult of Xenu? Scientology works for the rich at the top. You will never be there. When you have no more, you go away. Bye,bye dumbass.

  • SCIENTOLOGY WORKS!!! SCIENTOLOGY WORKS!!!! SCIENTOLOGY WORKS!!!! (but its expensive) who cares though it's worth every penny without it I wouldn't be anything

  • @drduke28 To be fair, which people never are to the cult of Scientology (as if other religions are less crazy or more true...they aren't), the people who initially joined Dianetics in the early 50s were not fools and were not sheep. They were with a few exceptions highly intelligent people who saw something of value in Hubbard's work. And Hubbard talked a lot of sense to start with....but he went more than a little mad almost at once, and only got worse from then til he finally croaked.

  • Yeah, I'm sure some forgotten, most likely shit story L. Ron Hubbard cranked out for a magazine is the first psychological horror novel.

    No doubt : I

  • @Thorion1969 The only entity on this planet better at litigation than the Church of Scientology is Harlan Ellison. Hubbard's sheep and their e-meters wouldn't stand a chance against Ellison. They may have the cash, but Harlan has an actual brain, and a brilliant one at that.

  • Hasn't Tom Cruise sued various publications for slandering the name of Scientology? Funny that he hasn't sued Harlan Ellison for saying loudly and clearly - as an eyewitness to the time - LRH created this whole thing to make money. Is the truth that hard to face?

  • @farswept Only if you want to make it understood. Man's history is one of trying to understand what's hurting him, and what he can do to stop it. Obviously, a few mistakes have been made along the way.
